Week 4: Production Plan

Project Timeline

Using Jira, I am able to very clearly visualise the project timeline and stay on top of all of my tasks (listed left).

Current Scripting

I began scripting character action using a google doc, before switching to twine, where it was much easier to visualise and connect branching dialogue action.

Progress Reflection

I believe that at this point in the production of my project, I'm mostly where I need to be. I'll begin scripting the dialogue over the break week and well as properly grey boxing the Vertical Slice level I have planned. As the interaction is focusing on dialogue, I want it to be compelling and interesting, which is why I'm focusing so heavily on the flow of the dialogue.

I do think that perhaps I should be further along in terms of the character controller and planning the camera movement, but over the break week I will also begin to storyboard the action. I want the camera movement to feel a bit more dynamic than just a regular first person scene.
